Organized by the China Flower Association, managed by Shanghai Intex Exhibition and China Great Wall International Exhibition, has over 25 years’ experience at the forefront of Asia’s floriculture & horticulture industry. As the industry’s flagship exhibition with one of the longest track records in the Chinese market, its influence and reputation is recognized by industry professionals all over world. In 2023, the exhibition covered an area of 40,000 square meters and attracted about 500 exhibitors from 21 countries and regions. It attracted 74,365 times of visitors from 21 countries and regions, distinguished itself amongst the 681 exhibitions held in Shanghai and was awarded the accolade of “2023 Shanghai Excellent Exhibition”.

By the end of 2020, China had over 1.5 million hectares of flower planting scale, representing more than 250 Billion RMB (39 Billion USD) in annual sales volume. China is now the largest flower production base in the world, as well as the leading flower consuming, importing and exporting country. Aligning with the growing influence of China’s floriculture & horticulture industry, people have rising aspirations for a better quality of life, and an improved ecology and environment, which is placing ever greater demand on floricultural & horticultural products and services in the post-COVID-19 era.

China Flower Association (short as CFA), is established on 1 November 1984 under the initiative of Chen Muhua, former vice-chairman of the standing committee of the National People’s Congress.

The group is a national non-profit social organization composed of enterprises, public institutions, social organizations and individuals in the field of flowers and related industries. The aim is to observe the constitution, laws, regulations and national policies, and to observe the social morality. In accordance with the principle of socialization and marketization, establish and perfect the industry self-regulation mechanism to safeguard the legal rights and interests of members; To play the connecting role of “organization, coordination, guidance, service”, to provide consultation for the government and to provide services for the development of members and industries; Optimize resource allocation, promote the transformation and upgrading of flower industry, and develop modern flower industry; In order to develop urban and rural economy, increase people’s income, promote ecological civilization and build beautiful Chinese service.

Taken independent in July 2016, Shanghai Intex Exhibition (Co., Ltd.) was originally founded in 1995 as the pioneering exhibition organizing business of Intex Shanghai, the venue management business running the first international exhibition center in Shanghai. Shanghai Intex Exhibitions is jointly overseen by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Shanghai and PNO Exhibition Investment (Dubai) Limited, giving it the perfect combination of domestic and international resources.

Over the last 20 years, we have organized more than 100 tradeshows and over 1000 conferences, with a sum total exhibition space in excess of 2 million square meters during this time. We have a number of internationally renowned exhibitions covering the music industry, consumer electronics, healthcare, lifestyle, floriculture, advanced manufacturing, public transport, and more.
